Bruce Grimbly II

Bruce Allen Grimbly II, age 42, passed away on Monday, June 3rd, 2019 at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Florida.  He was born March 18th, 1977 in North Platte, Nebraska to Bruce Grimbly Sr. and Cynthia Slocum.  Bruce's last known jobs included a management position at an ice cream distribution center and most recently he was self employed as a wholesale purveyor of fine fragrances.

For the last five years Bruce has been a valued and contributing member of the 11Group and More Than Conquerors small group ministries at New Life Christian Fellowship.  A faithful servant of Jesus Christ with a heart for serving others, Bruce was involved in several ministries to the homeless at his time of death including Speak Out in the Streets where he was a founding member, Pay It Forward, the Impact Center, Salvation Army and Under the Bridge Ministries.

Bruce chased a healthy emotional and spiritual life with infectious zeal!  Ready to offer anyone he encountered a conversation, a hug or a smile, Bruce cultivated vital relationships that enriched his life and helped him overcome the loss of his mother.  He found a family.

Our brother Bruce was an "Old Soul".  He was always available to offer a listening ear  and help shoulder another's burden whenever needed.  He will be missed greatly.

Bruce is predeceased by his father Bruce Grimbly Sr., his mother Cynthia Slocum and his grandfather Samuel Grimbly.  Bruce is survived by his brother Stephen Hoven and wife Amanda, his nieces Julyanna Perez and Raelynn McKinzie, his nephew Chaska Hoven, his grandmother Patricia Grimbly, his neighbor Michael Ann Morin, a large family of friends, brothers and sisters in Christ at New Life Christian Fellowship Church and his "Ride Or Die", Jenean Fitzsimons as Bruce affectionately referred to her.

Please join us for Bruce's memorial celebration of life at New Life Christian Fellowship, 6755 S. Washington Avenue, Titusville, FL  32780.  We will have one service at 1 PM on Sunday, June 23rd, 2019 which will be conducted by Senior Pastor Jason Linkous.
