Anthony Petzel

Anthony Petzel ,94, of Titusville passed away on Sunday June 16, 2019 peacefully in his sleep. Born on January 22, 1925 to the late Frank and Frances Petzel, Anthony served our nation with great honor with the US Army during World War II, received the Purple Heart and was honorable discharged in 1945. Anthony enjoy building things and was a general  contractor, his business was known as Doral Homes ,he also enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years. Was always an avid supporter of his daughter Diane love of horses and her nonprofit Wild Horse Rescue Center located in Mims,Other than his parents Anthony is preceded in death by his son Tony Petzel Jr., brothers Joe Petzel and Frank Petzel and sister Julie Buffo. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 64 years, Joan: daughters Doreen Horvath and Diane Petzel Delano; grandchildren Connie, Chad and Cole, Nicholas, Rachel and Hannah; great grandchildren Avery, Magnum, Maverick, Ivy Raven, Rylan, Annabell, Landon, Cablib, Zack and Ally. Memorial services will be held announced ..Full military honored  funeral to be held at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Scottsmor. Memorial contributions may be made in Anthony Petzel  name to the The Wild Horse Rescue Center in honor of all his love for the animals.
