Joe Pineiro

Joe Pineiro, 88, passed away on July 31, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in La Coruna, Panches Spain on March 11, 1933. He immigrated to The United States and received citizenship in the 1950’s.  He moved to Florida in 1960 and started working as a contractor for NASA to complete maintenance on NASA tracking stations.  In 1975, he started working at Kennedy Space Center as a Structural Tower Painter. He worked there until he retired in 1995, at the crisp age of 62. He enjoyed retirement! He had a long and happy retirement spending it with family and friends.  He had opportunities to travel all over the world and share those experiences with others.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing in the great outdoors.  Life was kind to him and gave him many wonderful people to share it with such as his sons and his grandchildren. He will be missed ever so deeply.

Joe is survived by his sons, Joe Pineiro and Mark Pineiro; Granddaughter, Kaitlyn (Tim Goff) Pineiro; Grandsons: Kallen Pineiro, Presten Pineiro and Corden Pineiro; His former wife, Ruth Pineiro; Brothers, Juan Pineiro and Andres Pineiro; Sister, Manuela Pineiro.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Pineiro Lopez and his mother, Manuela Fernandez Rama; Brothers, Antonio Pineiro and Augustin Pineiro.
