Patricia Mae Mooney

Patricia Mae Mooney, 85, of Titusville, entered into eternal rest on November 9, 2018.  Pat was born on July 5, 1933 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to her parents Theodore Lamb and Rachael D. Lamb Manson.  She was married to Jim Mooney, and they moved to Brevard County from California in 1960. 

Aside from being a wonderful homemaker, Pat worked for a number of years as a pharmacy technician at Cutter’s Drugs.  She also worked at the Radiation Company, a precursor to what we now know as the Harris Corporation.  In her free time, Pat enjoyed arts and crafts.  She created many oil paintings, made and painted Oriental mugs, and loved creating artwork from stained glass.  She once made a lamp for her husband James out of stained glass, from the very church in which he was born.  Pat also had a passion for antiques, and she and her husband owned an antique shop in St. Augustine for about 10 years. 

Pat is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jim Mooney; her son Harvey Wyatt of Satsuma, Florida; her daughter Marlinda Abu Dhabi (Mohammed) of Melbourne, Florida; her step-daughter Nona Ruth Miguel (Douglas) of Murphy, North Carolina; three sisters and one brother, all of California; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews; and her life-long friend Polly Hall of Titusville.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the North Brevard Funeral Home on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bill Corristan officiating.  Condolences can be sent to www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com.
