Margie Smith

Margie Ruth Smith, 74, died Saturday December 9, 2017 at Wuesthoff Hospice House. Margie was born in Huntington, New York and came to Brevard County in 1959. Margie worked as an office manager for Iceplex Skating Rink in Rockledge. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and she loved animals and bowling.

Margie is survived by her son David Ritenburg of Melbourne; her grandchildren Matthew Jaspers, Daniel Jaspers; her cousin Diana Hopkins; and her friend Diane Morgan and her children Laura Swinson and Jay Morgan. Margie was preceded in death by her husband Jim Ritenburg and Floyd Smith, her daughter Diana Jaspers and her son Donnie Ritenburg.

A celebration of Margie’s life will be held at 3pm Saturday December 16, 2017 at North Brevard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA.
