John H Andress

John H. Andress, 87, died Monday February 20, 2017 at the Edward Poe Hospice Care Center in Titusville. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, full of faith and a humble follower of Christ. He was kind, generous, led by example, and always put his family first. John was born in Belva, Oklahoma and served in the Army during the Korean War. He came to Brevard in 1968 from Long Beach California while working for Rockwell. He worked at Kennedy Space Center in Quality Control for 28 years and retired from Rocketdyne in 1994. John loved fishing, shrimping and the outdoors. He was a long-time member of St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church in Titusville, and it brought him great joy to serve there.

John is survived by his wife of 58 years Sue Andress of Titusville; his sons Jeffrey Andress and his wife Donna of Mims, FL, Daniel Andress and his wife Jean of Liverpool, NY, and Christopher Andress of Titusville; his grandchildren Jennifer Addis and her husband Matt of Ashville, NC and Jeremy Andress of Mims, FL; his great-grandson Jayce Andress, and great-granddaughters Luci and Madi Addis; and his sister Bess Drake of Illinois.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm Sunday February 26, 2017 at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to St. Luke’s Presbyterian or Hospice of St. Francis.
