Aunt Hildegard was always kind and patient with all the cousins, and she made the managing of many children look easy. Having lost our mother four years ago, we join our cousins in what is a sorrowful time for the entire family. Mothers like ours leave big shoes to fill. We will miss Aunt Hildegard for the rest of our lives, until we see her again.

I feel blessed to have had Hilde in a part of my life. I was the chapter leader of TOPS while she was attending and she was a precious soul. Always a lady. I would get amused watching her drive away from the meeting, she could barely see over the dash. She will be missed, but know that she now is in the presence of our Father.
