Carra Estelle Higginbotham

Carra Estelle Higginbotham, 89, died Saturday April 22, 2017 at her home in Mims. Estelle was born on September 21, 1927 and was a lifelong Mims resident. She loved flowers and most especially children. Countless people lovingly knew her as Granny.  She was a devout Christian and always put her love for God at the forefront of her life. She was a charter member of LaGrange Baptist Church. 

Estelle is survived by her husband of 69 years Ralph M. Higginbotham; her children Ralph W. Higginbotham, Phillip Higginbotham, and Rebecca Turner and her husband Michael, all of Mims; grandchildren David, Carrie, Amanda, Heath, Ruth, Jonathan, and Jacob; great-grandchildren Katrina, Kayla, Sarah, David, Phillip, Dalton, Garrett, Parker, Brenden, Preston, Kara, and Kimber; and one great-great grandson Bryson.

Estelle was preceded in death by her son Jacob, her parents Whit and Rosa Harper Livingston, her brothers Otis, Marcus and RB Livingston, her sisters Myrtle Brown and Thelma Wallace. 

A visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 6-8pm at North Brevard Funeral Home. Services will be at 10am Friday at LaGrange Baptist Church. Burial will follow at LaGrange Cemetery in Titusville.
