Dolores Anne Wassmuth

Dolores “Dee” Anne Wassmuth, 84, died Thursday December 7, 2017 at the Edward Poe Hospice Care Center in Titusville. Dee was born in Nezperce, Idaho and came to Titusville in 1964 from Abilene, Texas. Dee was a square-dancer, a 4-H leader, and was very active with her childrens’ activities and sports as they were growing up. She was a devoted member of St. Teresa Catholic Church and a supporter of the St. Teresa School.

Dee is survived by her husband of 65 years Vincent Joseph Wassmuth; her children Calvin Wassmuth (Robin) of Charlotte, NC, Nancy Paulus (Chuck) of Jonesboro, GA, Peggy Lafferty (Patrick) of Titusville, FL, Richard Wassmuth (Sue) of Indialantic, FL, and Lisa Biegler (Howard) of Titusville, FL; her siblings Geraldine Miller, Pauline Schlader, Richard Fuchs, and Clarence Fuchs; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents Leo and Dorothy Fuchs, her sister Mary Lance and her granddaughter Dawna Biegler.

A visitation will be held at North Brevard Funeral Home from 5-6:30pm Monday December 11, 2017 with a rosary at 6:30pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday December 12, 2017 at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at to Hospice of St. Francis or St. Teresa School.
