Daniel Jack Casper Jr

Daniel “Jack “ Casper passed into eternal rest on February 21, 2018 at the Hospice of St. Francis Care Center, his family by his side.

Jack grew up in North Miami, where he attended school and played sports. He attended Florida State University.  His military time was served in the United States Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam, time in Italy and Key West as well.  He began work for Southern Bell in 1968.

Met his wife, Patti in 1969, and they married in1971. They lived in the greater Miami area for a time, having two children. Staying within the phone system, they lived in Mississippi and Texas for a while before returning to central Florida, just in time for child number three. The family settled in Titusville.  Due to all the changes with the Bell Systems and A.T. &T., Jack moved on to work for Brevard Telephone Business Services.

A true sports fan, having played football, baseball and running track through school and college, Jack could be found watching his favorite games / sporting events frequently. He loved spending time with family and fishing.

Jack is survived by his wife, Patti of 46 years and their son Daniel, wife Melanie and daughter, their daughter Tracey, her partner, Lamarr, their two sons and two daughters, and by daughter-in-love Regina and her two daughters, his sister Elizabeth and her husband James, and their family. Many other family members and dear friends.

Mr. Casper was preceded by his son, Michael, his mother, Gladys and sister, Marilyn.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2309 Holder Road, Mims, Florida 32754.   A small reception immediately following at the church social hall.

Wear your favorite shade of purple or pink.
