Charles Edwards

Charles (Chuck) Lawrence Edwards, 77, of Charlotte, NC/Titusville, FL, went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully in his home on Thursday morning February 8, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Charlotte, NC, Chuck was the son of the late Marie and Clemon Edwards. He lived a long rewarding and fulfilling life. He would tell you that he was blessed in so my ways; with the love of his life, Mrs. Esther, by his side they could conquer anything they were faced with. Chuck gave his life to the Lord the summer of 1991 and was Baptized on December 2nd of that same year, thus faithful and true to his God until his last breath.

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 60 years, Ms. Esther Edwards, his daughter Donna Jean Herd of Titusville, FL, his son Donald Clark Edwards of Titusville, FL; grandchildren Michelle Wolf and husband Erik of Monroe, NC, David Dickerson and wife Amanda of Rock Hill, SC, and Jason Dickerson of Titusville, FL; great-grandchildren, Makayla Dickerson, Devin Dickerson, Lilly Dickerson, Brendan Wolf, Grayson Wolf, Dillon Wolf, and Alora Wolf. He is also survived by his sister Joan Caviness of (Taylorsville, NC), and brother David Edwards of Sherrills Ford, NC.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father Marie & Clemon Edwards, his sister Barbara Burleson, and son-in-law Douglas Herd.
