Ann Brooks Kondo

Ann Brooks Kondo, 91, of Valrico, FL passed away in the presence of her loving family on October 9, 2018.  Ann was born in Baltimore, Maryland.  Ann lived in Maryland until she moved to Miami, Florida where she met her husband, Francis.  They married in 1948 and were married for 47 years before his passing in 1996.  They lived in Miami and North Palm Beach, FL before moving to Valrico in 1978.  Ann was a life long cat lover and Florida Gator fan, and won many awards for her sewing and cross stitch art work.     Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Brooks.  She is survived by her sister, Tanya Tidwell, her sons, Steve, Brad, Curt and Chris and their spouses, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ann will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery with Francis.  A private memorial service will be held at that time.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Hospice of St. Francis (www.hospiceofstfrancis.com).
