Julia Dally "Judy" Andrews

Longtime resident of Titusville, Julia Dally “Judy” Andrews, 75, died peacefully with family on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Summerville Medical Center in South Carolina.  She was born in Springhill Township, Pennsylvania to Henry Sheridan Dally and Anna Sophia Dally.  Judy attended Fairmont State College in Fairmont, West Virginia where she met and married James Lonson Andrews.  They were married for 47 years until Lon’s death in 2009.  Judy graduated from Nova Southwestern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  She retired after several years as section chief of chemistry and quality control coordinator from the Parrish Medical Center laboratory.  Judy was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church and American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

She is survived by daughter, Kimberly Marie (Andy) Maffe; sons, James David Andrews and Charles Sheridan Andrews; ten grandchildren; sisters, Sharon King and Margaret Dally and pug, Hanna.  Judy “Nana” was most often found in the midst of entertaining family and friends and feeding her grandchildren.  Judy lived a life of service to others and will be dearly missed by her loved ones, those that refer to her as “my second Mom.”

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 8th at North Brevard Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9th at St. Teresa Catholic Church.  Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
