Janice Fussell Lanoue, 79, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Born May 2, 1935 to William ‘Lamb’ and Annie Lee (Gay) Fussell in Moultrie, GA. Graduated High School in 1953 and attended college at Valdosta State. Married in 1955 and was a resident of Brevard County, FL for 55 years.
She worked as a Quality Control Inspector for NASA’S Space Shuttle Program and retired as a QCI with MacDonnell Douglas in Brevard. She loved children, sports, fishing and nature. Spending her ‘retirement’ as a Volunteer with the “Enchanted Forest” and Canaveral Nat’l Seashore leading guided tours.
Preceded in death by her parents; and brothers: William F and Doyle B Fussell. Leaving sons: W Kirby Lanoue, Rick & wife Alaina Lanoue; daughter: Jeanette & husband Charles Brewer; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sister: Nadine Newsom Dunlap; and sister-in-law Betty (Brownlee) Fussell; 7 nieces and 5 nephews.
Graveside services Aug. 2, 2014 @ 11 am at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Moultrie, GA.
