Bernard R. Taylor, 70, died Friday, April 18, 2014.  Born in Rockledge, FL, on July 27, 1943, he lived in Brevard County most of his life, retiring from Kennedy Space Center in 2005, where he received the prestigious Silver Snoopy Award.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Taylor.  He is survived by his children, Lisa (Mark) Winkelbauer, Mike (Kathy) Taylor, Marc Taylor; step-children, Barbara Anne (Bill) Baun, Deborah (Greg) Oborne, Kelli Fields, Louis (Vicky) Fields, Keith (Rachelle) Fields; sister, Jeanette (Fred) Carrigan; twenty grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville, beginning at 1:00pm until the memorial service at 2:00pm, with inurnment at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.  A celebration of life will follow at 4:00pm at the North Brevard Shrine Club.
